Magic Kompa
New Haitian Band
In the summer of 1999, the band came together with a simple and sincere goal, to create an authentic blend of Kompa music to entertain the Haitians and others all over the world. Gaston Cherichel along with his brother Robenson Cherichel (Sonn) had the need for an entertainment venue for the Haitian people and other culture as well as a passion for kompa music. Sweet Love Band's first appearance was on June 4th 2005 at the Bradley Banquet Hall and was indeed a huge success. Sweet Love is primarily based out of Jammin' Asbury Park, New Jersey
